Shinfield Players Theatre has three youth groups, The Junior youth group is for 8 to 11 year olds, the Middle youth group 12 to 14 year olds and the Senior youth group is for 14 to 18 years olds, .

Junior Youth Groups 

Junior Youth Group School Years 4-7 , (8 - 11 year olds) meets on Wednesdays between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Middle Youth Group School Years 7-9/10, (11-14 year olds) meets on Wednesdays between 6:45 pm and 7:45 pm, during term-time. We present a Review evening at Christmas time and a Summer Show and the groups give youngsters an opportunity to explore drama, singing and stagecraft in an informal setting. There is currently a waiting list. 

Senior Youth Group

Senior youth group meets on Friday evenings between 7pm and 9pm during term times for 14 to 18 year olds. In a relaxed atmosphere it presents youth members with three performances a year as well as opportunities to be involved in SPT productions (pantos, musicals). All activities of stage craft are covered during the course of a year - including acting, staging, make-up, singing, dancing as well as theatre games. Although the group is full at present there is a waiting list for anyone who would like to join, as a guide it generally takes about a year to move from the waiting list to joining the group.
