Shinfield Players Theatre Statement to patrons and members of the public regarding Covid-19

Following the Government advice about Coronavirus, Shinfield Players

Theatre building is closed to the public for the immediate future and all

productions for the rest of the season have been cancelled.

The safety of our audiences, members and visitors is of the utmost

importance. We apologise for the disruption and thank you for your

support during this period of great uncertainty.

Whilst we cannot directly be involved with the theatre we are able to

access rehearsals and read through's via virtual platforms to keep touch

with our membership and the public. We have also held a virtual

Theatreoke evening that we are hoping to hold again as well as an up and

coming virtual quiz being planned. please look out of all social media

platforms how you can be involved.

As for next season, at this time it is hard to say when we will be back, we

know what shows we would like to put on, depending on future advice

will guide us in the right direction, as soon as we are able to we will

inform through social media our plans. We are using the closed time

wisely to upgrade our auditorium for your future enjoyment by getting

local tradesmen, who are now able to work into the building to make

these improvements.

We look forward to the time we can all be together again and thank you

for your understanding and patience during these difficult times.
